This is to notify the public of Norzin Lam and Hongkong Market that the collection of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) will happen at night, starting October 24, 2022. The main reason for this shift in timing is the inconvenience of MSW collection during rush hours/heavy traffic hours. Therefore, Thimphu Thromde would like to request the public in Norzin Lam and Hongkong Market areas only to adhere to the night collection of MSW starting Oct. 24, 2022. Collection days for wet and dry waste to remain the same as the current schedule - Wednesdays and Saturdays for wet waste, and Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for dry waste.
