As part of the Clean Thimphu City Initiative, Thimphu Thromde has outsourced street sweeping and drain cleaning services in the Norzin Zone to Green Bhutan Services with effect from 1st May 2025.

To improve the supply of clean drinking water to Pamtsho-Jungzhina and surrounding areas in North Thimphu, a new 1.4 MLD Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is nearing completion.

Thimphu Thromde conducted the Royal Civil Service Award Ceremony graced by the Director-General of Department of School Education, Ministry of Education and Skills Development.

Thimphu Thromde is currently undergoing a significant maintainance work, including the enhancement of roundabouts, gates, and the resurfacing of Changlimithang Parking.

The training was given to the interested ESP/GSP under Thimphu Thromde as part of Skills for life Training.
