The office would like to inform the general public that the City Bus Service Office, Thimphu Thromde in collaboration with Bhutan Construction and Transport Authority (BCTA) and Thimphu Traffic Division, Royal Bhutan Police (RBP) will soon pilot the Bus Priority Lane along the expressway from the Babesa Zero point to Changzamtog flyover bridge from the August month.
The office has recently completed installing signage along the expressway and will soon commence with the Bus Lane markings and road markings on the expressway. An advocacy video has been aired on the BBS and shared on social platforms in collaboration with Samuh. We would like to seek public support for the successful piloting of Bus Priority Lane in Thimphu.
